GleaBeta

Browse, then keep what you find.

A Mac browser with a journal built in. Capture anything from a page, link your notes, and keep every word as Markdown on your disk.

Free beta · macOS 12 or later · Apple silicon

Try it here

Hold ⌥ and click anything on this page.

It lands below, the way it would in your journal or a note.

Journal

A page for every day, and a memory of yesterday.

Today on top, the days before just below. A summary picks up where you left off: the notes you touched and the pages you actually read.

Glea’s journal.

Linked notes

Notes that know where they came from.

Type [[ to link. Every note shows its backlinks and unlinked mentions. Obsidian-flavored, so you can open the same folder in both.

A linked note.

Omnibox

One field for the web, your notes and your tabs.

⌘ K and start typing: suggestions, full-text note search, open tabs, history, or a new note.

The omnibox.

A real browser

Chromium inside, a native Mac app outside.

Pages render as they do in Chrome; the app around them is AppKit. Tab groups, extensions, DevTools and incognito windows included.

Glea browsing Wikipedia.
